Student Representation in Senate Commissions

The tasks in the Senate include participation in regularly convening advisory Senate commissions – the “SSG” and the “SSKU.”

Permanent Senate Commission Equal Opportunities (SSG)

  • Student Representative (Winter Semester 2024/25 & Summer Semester 2025): Nora Eisenmeier
  • The task of the SSG is to support the Equal Opportunities Officer in her duties.
Unlike the Climate Committee, the meetings of the SSG are not public.

Permanent Senate Commission for Climate and Environmental Protection (SSKU)

  • Student Representative (Winter Semester 2024/25 & Summer Semester 2025): Christophe Weis
  • The task of the SSKU is to provide advisory support for the implementation of climate and environmental protection measures at the Karlsruhe University of Music, to advise the Senate on climate and environmental protection issues, and to propose climate and environmental protection measures to the Senate on their own initiative.
The committee meets at least once per semester, usually towards the end of the semester. The meetings are always open to the university public and will be announced in advance by us.
